It has been a CRAZY month!! We have been in Michigan, ambulance Ohio, treatment Georgia and Florida over the last four weeks. We have traveled well over 40 hours in the car and have been home for one day this entire month. In the midst of all the travel, look last Saturday (the 26th) Alex turned 14!! We were in Orlando for his birthday and took the day to visit Downtown Disney! What a great day as we watched Toy Story 3 and took Alex to the T-Rex Cafe for his birthday lunch and cake ~ “Chocolate Extinction.” It’s hard to believe Alex is already 14, but we are so proud of the young man he has become. As he looked through souvenir shops at all the silly and crazy items he could have picked out, he found a key chain with the “Footprints” poem on it – the first time he had ever read it. That was all he wanted. We are so blessed with a wonderful son! Thank you to everyone who sent cards and gifts! Alex sure felt loved!
